The African Canadian Business Chamber (ACBC) is a not-for-profit organization with a primary
objective of fostering stronger commercial relations between African countries and Canada.
Established in 2020, ACBC has its offices in Vancouver, Canada and Port Louis, Mauritius.
Led by a volunteer Board of Directors, the ACBC is comprised of successful business leaders with expertise conducting business in the 2 markets.

What we do

Partnership Development

CBC facilitates discussions on business strategy and growth, market opportunites and risk management to help businesses in Canada and in Africa find ways to develop business partnerships in both markets.

Advocacy

We will help businesses in the African-Canadian community by taking up concerns and initiatives from the business community and communicating them to various levels of government.

Market Information

Our comprehensive business platform and regular publications will provide important information to Canadian businesses looking to invest in Africa and to African businesses seeking markets and growth opportunities in Canada. 

Skills Developement & Training

We will train African Canadian Entrepreneurs and help them build capacity  in order to be more competitive and generate growth in the Canadian economy.

Immigration

We will help the Canadian government tackle the labour market shortage by working with government sponsored Agencies and organizations welcoming skilled workers

We focus on the following six activities

To serve our Members in Africa and Canada

To promote the development of commerce and investment between Canada and African countries

To provide a forum in which Canada and Africa business executives can network, identify, discuss, and pursue common interests regarding their activities.

Educate on International Trade and provide advice, support and export documentation information to Canada and African business.

To Promote sustainable development and transfer of know-how between Canada and Africa through capacity building initiatives and joint ventures
